We built a responsive, mobile-first platform with categorised browsing, a featured books carousel, and live AJAX-powered search with Google Analytics 4 integration — giving readers a fast, engaging way to discover their next outdoor adventure.
Book recommendations by voice
We extended Outdoor Books beyond the browser with a custom Amazon Alexa Skill. Readers can ask Alexa for book recommendations by category, discover what’s new, browse the full category list, or get details about a specific title — all hands-free.
The skill connects to the same catalogue that powers the website, ensuring recommendations are always current and consistent across both platforms.
