American Express Business Travel — the world leader in business travel management — needed to migrate 1,800 machines from leased Sabre PCs to their own hardware. Every desktop setting, travel software configuration, ticket printer setup, document, email, and bookmark had to transfer quickly, securely, and without disrupting day-to-day operations.
Automated backup and restoration at scale
We developed bespoke software that automated the entire backup and restoration process across approximately 1,800 computers in over 60 locations across the UK and Ireland.
Acting as technical lead alongside other IT partners, we supported the engineering team through a 6-week rollout. The result: minimal disruption to daily work, and a complete audit trail showing exactly where every piece of data went.
