From market stall to major international craft importer.
Reaching the wholesale market
When Siesta expanded their Fair Trade import business to supply wholesalers, they enlisted the expertise of eplatforms to ensure they could provide the best level of service.
We built a fully responsive website enabling customers to place orders via desktop, tablet or mobile.
A private section for wholesale customers allows a choice to buy on account or to pay at the time of ordering and a ‘quick shop’ facility lets wholesale customers replenish stock at the touch of a button.
Ease of use
We implemented an advanced search functionality allowing Siesta’s customers to look for items by category including price, country of origin, product code, ‘recently added’ or reduced-price
eplatforms knows that checkout abandonment can be a real problem for businesses so the team introduced online secure payment via both Paypal and Amazon.
Wholesalers can also choose to use automatically generated PDF proforma invoicing if required.
Easy payment
eplatforms' tailored technology allows secure, efficient payment processing via PayPal and Amazon Payments. Not only does this allow more choice for shoppers, but together with 'decluttering' the checkout, we also reduced checkout abandonment and made placing an order really simple.
